Chris Mills
 2009-2010 Coach, U15 Boys

 

 

Chris Mills, a current resident of Orlando, Florida and Western Michigan University alumni is in his 1st season at FC America. Chris played collegiately for Taylor University in Upland, Indiana before illness ended his playing career after his very successful freshman year. Mills began his coaching career at Battle Creek Lakeview High School in Battle Creek Michigan.

 

After relocating to Orlando 4 years ago, Coach Mills quickly became a mainstay at both the club and high school levels. Chris was an assistant at Olympia High School for two years before taking over the Titans in 2009. Chris led Olympia High School to a Regional Final, its best finish in school history, in his first season as head coach. They completed the season ranked number 2 in the Orlando Sentinel Super 6 with a record of 17-2-4. Chris also helped 3 of his high school players earn Division 1 scholarships. Most recently, he guided the u15 boys at FC America to a first place finish in the 2nd Division of the FSL (fall '09) and 1st division of the FSL in the Spring of '10.

 

He currently holds licensure with both the NSCAA (National Diploma) and USSF (‘E’ license). Chris has a BA in Secondary English Education from Western Michigan University, teaches 10th grade English and is the Assistant Athletic Director at Olympia High School.
