FC America U-15 Boys Group Runner-up at Raleigh Showcase

January 12, 2007 ... The U-15 boys posted a strong showing in the 2006 CASL Showcase in Raleigh, NC, while barely missing out on a trip to the Finals.

Playing in the Champions B Group (2nd out of 8 groups) the boys opened with a convincing 3-1 victory over Carolina Goldstar Select, and followed up with an equally solid 2-1 win over the GSA Phoenix Red out of Atlanta, GA. Needing only a draw to advance on Sunday to the finals, the boys fell 2-1 to the eventual tournament champions, the Freestate Titans from Baltimore while playing much of the second half a man down.
