Under 10 Girls go Unbeaten in Ormond Beach Challenge but get knocked out in PK's in Semi-finals.

January 18, 2006... The under 10 Kumba Girls continued their tournament success by defeating the Ormond Beach Waves 4-2 and the Melbourne Beach Tsunami 3-0.  In the semi-finals they faced the Creeks Clash out of Jacksonville.  The Kumba GK's gave up no direct shots and were so dominant in the first half, the GK never touch the ball during play.  However the unusual small sized goals normally used in 4 v 4 (3 v 3) played a huge factor as the many shots peppered on the Creeks goal either hit the post and cross bar or were saved by their excellent keeper.

After finishing the game 0-0, the Creeks squeaked out a win in sudden death PK's after the small goals proved to be an advantage for the Creeks Clash.
