FC America U-15 Boys Capture Championship of the 2006 N.A.S.A. Classic

September, 2006... The U-15 FC America 92’ Boys started the 2006 Tournament season off with a bang by capturing the Premier Group Championship at the 2006 N.A.S.A. Classic in Atlanta, Georgia with a convincing 2 – 0 victory over Birmingham United Thunderbolts 92’ Sunday afternoon.

The guys opened the tournament with a 1 – 1 draw against the Alpharetta Ambush in a game they thoroughly dominated but just couldn’t close out, and followed up with group play victories over the Cherokee Impact-Nike 4 – 1 and the N.A.S.A. 11’ Elite 3 – 0. The Sunday final produced a 2 – 0 halftime lead, and when Birmingham went to ten men early in the second half the boys coasted home to an easy win.
