FC America’s U-16 Boys Premier Black take the Disney Cup International Youth Soccer Tournament Title

August 8,  2010  ... During the week of July 12-17, the rising U-16 Boys Premier Black Macka Ballers team participated in the Disney Cup International Youth Soccer Tournament and was able to compete against teams from outside the continental US.

The first game of the tournament paired up the Macka Ballers with Chivas Houston (TX) in a morning game. The Macka Ballers were able to score in each half while stopping the repeated offensive attacks by Chivas, ending the game 2-0. The next afternoon the team met up with a local team from South Orlando and easily ran the score up for a 7-1 victory.

For the third game in as many days, the FCA Macka Ballers were able to take the pitch against a visitor from over the pond. The South Kirkby Colliery team from Great Britain fought hard, but was unable to hold the Macka Ballers back, resulting in a 4-1 game.

The final preliminary game was against Deportivo Barbosa Ocean Park Marlins from Puerto Rico. Deportivo provided a challenge, but were unable to get ahead of the Macka Ballers who won 3-2.

The Championship game was held Saturday morning and the Macka Ballers took to the pitch against Florida Rush Nike. The game ended with a 6-3 win for the undefeated FCA Macka Ballers!
