FC America U13 Boys Omni Win Disney Junior Showcase Qualifier Tournament

October 25,  2009 ... The FC America U13 Omni White started their tournament season with a bang by winning the Disney Junior Showcase Qualifier Tournament. The team went a perfect 5-0 in winning the highest regarded Labor Day Tournament in Florida.

The first game pitted FC America against CUFC Elite from South Carolina. FC dominated possession but managed to score only one goal in winning 1-0. The Boca United Gold team had the most explosive offense in the tournament but the defensive minded FC America team contained them enough to walk off with a hard earned 2-1 victory. The 3rd pool game pitted Orlando FC against FC America. The game was another game in which FC America had to fight their way through a wall to score in the final minute of the match to secure a 1-0 victory.

In the semi-finals the offense came alive to score three goals while the defense surrendered 1 against a upset minded Florida Rush Nike team 3-1. The finals was a rematch between Boca United and FC America, same teams same result, same score 2-1 FC America.
