Four members of the U13 FC America Premier 98/99 team have been selected to represent the State of Florida ODP team this summer in Alabama. The girls will attend a week long camp of inter regional games and training against other State teams from the southeast. At the end of the week, the girls will have a chance to be selected for the Region 3 team or be sent to the National Camp with US Soccer. This is a fantastic achieivement for the girls and the soccer club.
“After previously placing three boys to the id2 National Training Camp, we are delighted that four female players have earned distinction and recognition,” said FC America Director of Coaching Scott Brody. “Each of the girls can take pride that they have excelled at a camp designed for the elite level player within the state of Florida.”
Sydney Michalak (1999), Samantha Hilsee (1999), Carolyne Davidson (1999), McKinley Crone (1998) have helped the U13 FC America girls to a Florida State ranking of #3, and helped them advance to the second round of State cup this past weekend.
